Being a part of Ontario Propane Association gives us following privileges:

• Emergency Response Assistance Plan
  The purpose of this plan is to provide mutual assistance in the form of trained and equipped personnel to assist at emergencies involving propane, stored, sold, used, transported or offered for transport in Ontario by participants in the plan in order to protect and minimize the risk to people, the environment and property
• Propane Inspections Assistance
  OPA member companies are available to assist with ALL your inspection needs
• Active Representation on Codes and Standards Committees at the Municipal, Provincial and Federal Levels
• Updated Information regarding changes in codes and standards.

Propane Safety Training Options Available at Safety First Training and Support Services

• Propane Safety Awareness
  Designed specifically for customers who use propane, but don’t require technical training, this course will provide the basics of propane use. This course will cover such topics as basic product knowledge, preventative measures and first-aid, propane containers, the operation of propane-fuelled appliances, and how to read the gauges on your propane containers
  
• Propane Container Safety
  Raise the awareness of the importance of correct propane container installation. This course is aimed at workers who do not work directly with propane but who need a certain level of awareness to effectively do their jobs.
  
• Propane Use at Construction Sites
  Supervisors - do you know if propane is handled and used properly on your construction site? Increase your awareness of proper propane storage and handling procedures and improve construction site safety by knowing how to safely operate propane equipment.
  
• Power Equipment (Lift Trucks) Propane Cylinder Safety
  Raise the awareness of the importance of correct propane container installation. This course is aimed at workers who do not work directly with propane but who need a certain level of awareness to effectively do their jobs.
